Project Owner
Kremenchuk Evangelical Seminary
The Kremenchug Evangelical Seminary has been serving the churches of central Ukraine for 25 years. Mainly it is Poltava, Kirovograd and Cherkassy regions. Since the beginning and till now the motto of our seminary is "to the perfection of saints, for the work of service, to build up the body of Christ" Eph. 4:12.
Our students are representatives of very different churches. There are many rural churches in the region that need new leaders but are unable to financially help their students. There are very conservative and closed churches. There are open churches that develop in social ministry but do not have experience and specialists. There are churches where there is a crisis of power transfer. There are many small and young churches that need to be strengthened through education.
All this shows that the most important need of the Church has been and still is the need for qualified and dedicated leaders who are able to meet today's challenges and serve in the long term.
To meet the needs of the Church, the Seminary creates and develops educational programs. Examples are the programs opened over the past 5 years: “Marriage and family minister”, “Social minister “, “Youth minister”, "Master of Christian Leadership". Also, our school conducts trainings and conferences - which help Christians to exchange experiences, improve their skills, get acquainted with new tools of ministry.
Our graduates become leaders of new ministries aimed at achieving people in modern culture. As a result of 25 years of service, most of the key pastors of large churches and bishops in the region are our graduates.
